The Brad Jesness FAQ - Updated 03/19/03
4) How Can You Avoid Brad Jesness?
Certainly not by hosting "The Brad Jesness FAQ" that is for sure!!!!
If you have an interest in psychology and are interested in participating in usenet, it is hard to
avoid Brad because he posts to all the psychology usenet groups, and he posts and re-posts his rants,
attacks professionals, and harasses everyone who doesn't agree with him. He occasionally goes
running to other newsgroups to complain when he is being spanked in sci.psychology.psychotherapy
(SPP). At times he also posts anonymously to attack his enemies in other groups where they post.
Shortly after discovering that "The Brad Jesness FAQ" is being hosted by "Just Taylor" BJ went into
local groups he thought "Just Taylor" frequently visited to spread his hatred.

The anonymous posts Brad usually sends have arrived under his own name instead of the anonymous
posts Brad prefers. Are they really him? Nobody can say for sure as Brad frequently shifts between
anonymous posts, anonymous posts that are PGP signed by him and under his own name when appropriate.

Brad generally ends up getting strangers totally disgusted with him and may find himself with a new
set of "enemies," at which point he goes running back to SPP. This has happened to him in
alt.society.mental-health, alt.support.attention-deficit, alt.support.tourette, alt.flame.psychiatry,
rec.motorcycles, alt.2600 and alt.hackers.malicious, to give just some examples.
The bottom line is just avoid Brad. Brad is like cancer and once he gets a hold of you he will do
all that he can to remain attached. It has come to the point that even newbies can't avoid him in
the groups he likes to stalk.
